Went to West, Texas (18 miles north of Waco) where the fertilizer factory exploded on April 18 and over 35 people lost their lives. The small town of 2600 people was left devastated. The structural damage is severe and it’s like a ghost town, with most houses boarded up, and many windows blown out and roofs buckled. This is thought to have been caused by the shock wave and the resulting earthquake afterward. Here are some images of the damage. Thinking of these people, especially on Mother’s Day. Sad.
